The staff should have better managed the reservations or turned people away if they were at the maximum safe capacity. There was a huge tour bus in the parking lot that seems to have accounted for the crowd. The employee who buckled my son into the only ride we could get on was not wearing a mask. Several adult guests were not wearing masks or wore them below their noses. The staff did not enforce social distancing or mask requirements.

We couldn’t go on most of the rides because of the crowds. When we went there at about 3 pm, it was so crowded that social distancing was impossible. Guests were to make a reservation to ensure a capacity limit.

I felt okay booking time there for yesterday because according to the website, Covid restrictions would be followed, including a capacity limit, social distancing and a mask requirement. He had been there a couple of years ago and had a great time, staying for about two hours. I took my son, daughter and two other kids to the Schaumburg location yesterday to celebrate my son’s birthday. Overall, we will never be back and I would not recommend anyone go here unless the price goes down or they include more in the ticket price. He was more excited about a lego set we bought at the gift shop than the whole experience. Even my son was ready to leave after less than an hour. He did build a couple of cars to drive down the ramp they have, but honestly we could've just done that at home. My son did like the play area upstairs with the pirate ship and giant legos. For the price of admission (which is not cheap!) these should be included.

Also once you're inside there's a 4D movie (that costs extra) and a VR simulator (that again costs extra). The lego displays when you get inside are really neat, but not at all interactive. In this case I feel like a discount was warranted but that wasn't an option. Well, we had already driven nearly 4 hours and weren't going to tell our 3 year old he couldn't go to legoland having already been in the door, so we went in anyway. They offered to give us passes for a different day (but we couldn't visit that day if we took that), a refund (and no entry), or you could go in knowing the rides were down and they had no estimate as to when they would be back up. We found out when we got to the ticket counter (we had already purchased tickets online) that both of the rides were down. We got there at opening time and there was quite a wait. My 3 year old loves legos and we were excited to make a 3 day weekend to the Chicago area to visit Legoland in Schaumburg.
